Caim, Kevin Lo, Mattias El Mansouri

Saturday. October 10th. The Hague based Caim is what we call a crate digger. Not bound to genre’s he keeps on surprising with rare finds from different era’s. This resulted in residencies at Mood, the Tribe, and Breakfast Club. On the side, he also runs his own label Lone Planets Records where he explores the sides of organic techno, stripped down house with a lil’ touch of trance. Kevin Lo = house music. It started with hiphop but it all clicked with house music: from the first listen he became obsessed. Whether it’s Chicago, Detroit, or deep house, Kevin Lo blends it all together in sets carrying soul. He played Shelter, Phono Lake, Lowlands, and he will keep on extending this track record. Mattias El Mansouri. A Maroccan/Chilean DJ born in a quiet village in southwest Sweden. Similar to his roots, his sound is unique. It’s subtle and lures you in. His versatility shows on his releases: more big room on Aniari Recordings (together with icon Dorisburg) and more introspective and melodic on Nous Klaer’s Paraels III compilation. If you’re into house, make sure you don’t miss this one. See you at BRET.
