Opened in 1899 it is one of the most iconic in the city and has a magnificent terrace overlooking both Prinseneiland and the IJ. U-Bend are the denizens of sophis--pop balearia, bridging the gap between acid cougars and the namaste death cult. The London-based duo are the warped minds behind the ‘sound of the summer’ MACARENO on their sought after Benders imprint. Their steady stream of sold out out 12” releases are packed with low-tempo, off-kilter gems that delight salivatng balearic connoisseurs around the world.
