a Sense of Place presents: Soft Signals

Soft Signals is a live spatial audio performance on a six-speaker array by Nisham Olakara, built from months of recordings made in this coffee bar in a 1930s garage. He performs it during a six-seat coffee omakase from 09:00 to 11:00 (reservation only), then again at 13:00 with open, seated entry. From 14:00 three selectors play vinyl in turn: Alexcel with slow, deep house, Beastie with jazz, funk and experimental records, and Logan Kai with deep house and trip hop. Seated, part of ADE.
